OBSESSED! Revlon PhotoReady Foundation

There are some that say the more it costs the better it is...however, we beg to differ! During a recent Lady's Roundtable, putting the product against the leading high end competitor, on a the face good friend who would never dream of wearing drugstore cosmetics...she couldn't tell the difference!

Why I Am Obsessed!:

A drugstore product that equal's up to foundations double it's price, Revlon's PhotoReady Foundation is one great deal! It is super blendable and gives great coverage without the heavy feeling. This product makes my skin look great in photos and works great when I shoot in HiDef! After hours of wear this foundation is still in place & still covering! And I love the shade options your get! Its easy to find a color that perfectly matches. If you ever do find yourself between shades mixing with a shade lighter or darker they combine perfectly for custom color!

How I Use It:

• Apply a light coat to clean, moisturized skin (priming is option but a great ideal if you are wearing for camera or out in bright light) with a foundation brush
• Once I have an even coat, I use my stipling brush going in small, circular strokes to perfectly blend this product out
• Conceal necessary areas (which won't be many with this great coverage)
• Set with a translucent powder for all day shine control

OBSESSED! L'Oreal Double Extend

You can spend all the time in the world on your makeup, but if your lashes aren't pulling their weight, all of that hard work can go to waste! Its important to find a mascara that will pull a day as long as you do without running or flaking! I have a drawer full of 'failed' mascaras but this drusgstore find is my holy grail!

Why I Am OBSESSED!

This mascara is hands down the best I have ever used! It gets the highest marks in all 3 criteria I look for in a good mascara and its a drugstore find so I love the price!

1. It's buildable- this mascara is made for multiple layers! It has a primer and top coat that work together to make your lashes fat & long! 
2. It stays put- I have long lashes and oily lids which can make for a bad combo, even in waterproof. This mascara doesn't run or leave the dreaded dark smudge under my eyes & on the tops of my lids. 
3. It is easily removed- unlike a lot of mascaras that are still hanging around after makeup remover & a shower, this formula creates a literal tube of product around you lash. When you add makeup remover or water the tubes slide right off in clumps. This is a great saver on your lashes & your eyes. Lots of rubbing or harsh removers can damage your lashes and cause premature aging of the skin around the eyes!

How I Use It:

• After curling my lashes, I start by applying the white primer to my bottom lashes with a zig zag & down motion- applying to your bottom lashes first saves you from getting spots on your lids from the wet top lashes.
• Next apply primer to your top lashes using a zig zag motion at the lash base then blink through to the tip
• Repeat bottom & top lashes if your lashes are short or very thin
• Apply top coat to the bottom then top using the same motions
• Repeat for extra volume or length. 

TIP: You should always build your mascara while your other coats are damp. Waiting too long can cause spider eyes. If you feel a dry or tugging feeling, you have waited to long.

OBSESSED! Crystalline Pedicure Wand

My go to, in between pedicures or when I simply don't have time to schedule an hour away to get my feet done! I simply can't live without this wand!

Most women love pedicures. I've met a select few who haven't but even they wanted to have nice feet. As women, we are expected to be soft, but if you like heels and are anything like me that's a hard thing to accomplish with your feet! My heels & the balls of my feet rough & callused and in the season where sandals & flops reign supreme, that just isn't acceptable.

Why I Am OBSESSED!

This wand is like any other I've found. It has a low price point which I like but it works wonders on my feet! It has these tiny crystalline cells that cause a very gentle but effective abrasion process to remove dry skin & calluses. You aren't grating your feet down or roughly damaging like some feet products out there that scrape away at the skin. That only promotes the regrowth of thick, callused skin! 

This product instantly smooths out the rough areas on my feet & gives them that clean, just pedicured feeling!

How I use it:

This works best when your skin is dry. I will use it typically before I shower so I can wash off the dust and give a good coat of moisture after. 

On dry skin, gentle massage the flat part of the wand on your feet. I use a back & forth motion on the main parts of the feet & the sides and a circular rubbing motion on areas that are drier or more callused. I also use this on the outside of my baby toe as it gets callused as well. 

You can use this product as much as you want to keep your feet looking great in between salon visits or to maintain your feet period if you don't get pedicures.
